The authors have put together this site as part of the Community, Communication and Computer course at the Evergreen State College. The course deals with issues surrounding the increased use of computers and the World Wide Web as resources for the public at large. A center- piece in that discussion is the social responsibilities of those who utilize the Internet. This site was created to demonstrate how the resource could be used to benefit a segment of the community.
